The fact that the people of Weißensee feel at home in their city depends to a large extent on the intact infrastructure, but also on the prospects that the city offers its citizens.

The town is a school location for the region, with primary and secondary schools. The catchment area includes 10 villages.

The residents of Weißensee can pursue their hobbies and interests in over 30 clubs and associations. A family doctor’s practice, a specialist in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, a dental practice and a social care center provide health care for the town and its citizens.

Weißensee is also well equipped in the social area, for example THEPRA day care center, two residential care homes, ASB education and meeting center, camping site, sports center with 2-field sports hall and bowling alley, the sports stadium in Ulmenallee and the sports field at Fischhof as well as the newly built fire station. These facilities offer the clubs and volunteer citizens of our town a wide range of leisure activities and improve the quality of life.
