Weißensee is located in the northern part of the Thuringian Basin, 35 kilometers from Erfurt, and is surrounded by fertile farmland.
The town with the “Süd-West” industrial park is located directly on the B 86 between Straußfurt and Kindelbrück. It has good traffic connections – it is just under 8 kilometers to the A71 highway and approximately 35 kilometers to the A4.
Weißensee offers an intact infrastructure that has been created with great effort by politicians, businesses, and the community in the years since 1990.
