The City of Weißensee still has vacancies in the following volunteer positions as part of the Federal Volunteer Service. Work in the Federal Volunteer Service is planned for the following positions: For the following areas

In the Traumzauberbaum-Grundschule after-school care center, 2 positions can be filled again from 01.04.2017, but can be agreed in advance as soon as the Federal Office for Family Affairs and Civil Society Tasks has given its approval. Who can take part?
Anyone who has completed their compulsory schooling can take part in the Federal Volunteer Service. Age, gender, nationality or type of school-leaving qualification are irrelevant. People over the age of 27 can also work part-time (at least 20 hours per week).
The Federal Voluntary Service is aimed in particular at people who
want to do practical work after school or university,
- want to bridge the gap until the start of their studies or training,
- do not yet know exactly what direction they want to take professionally and would like to get to know new areas of work,
- are working but would like to reorient themselves,
- want to gain work experience without pressure,
- want to do something for other people as part of a time-out or
- want to get involved for the common good after retirement
What benefits do I receive during my voluntary service?
The framework conditions for the Federal Volunteer Service are uncomplicated. The primary goal is to enable everyone who wants to get involved to do an enriching service.

- A specialist supervises the volunteer at the placement location.
- All volunteers receive free seminars.
Pocket money
- The places of employment decide how much pocket money is paid.
Insurances
- For social insurance purposes, the Federal Volunteer Service is treated in the same way as an apprenticeship.
- Contributions to pension, accident, health, long-term care and unemployment insurance are paid by the assignment location.
Certificate
- After completing the BFB, volunteers receive a qualified certificate.
As a volunteer, you do not need any specialist training. You will take on tasks that go beyond the core services of the charitable organization.
The BFD is generally performed for a period of twelve consecutive months. The service lasts a minimum of six months and a maximum of 18 months. The provisions of the Federal Leave Act apply to leave during the BFD.
