All other possible appointments will only be possible once the Federal Office has approved the positions. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can take part?<\/strong><br \/>\nAnyone who has completed their compulsory schooling can take part in the Federal Volunteer Service. Age, gender, nationality or type of school-leaving qualification are irrelevant. People over the age of 27 can also work part-time (at least 20 hours per week).  <\/p>\n<p>The Federal Voluntary Service is aimed in particular at people who<br \/>\nwant to do practical work after school or university,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>want to bridge the gap until the start of their studies or training,<\/li>\n<li>do not yet know exactly what direction they want to take professionally and would like to get to know new areas of work,<\/li>\n<li>are working but would like to reorient themselves,<\/li>\n<li>want to gain work experience without pressure,<\/li>\n<li>want to do something for other people as part of a time-out or<\/li>\n<li>want to get involved for the common good after retirement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What benefits do I receive during my voluntary service?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe framework conditions for the Federal Volunteer Service are uncomplicated. The primary goal is to enable everyone who wants to get involved to do an enriching service. <\/p>\n<p>Volunteers receive:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A specialist supervises the volunteer at the placement location.<\/li>\n<li>All volunteers receive free seminars.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pocket money<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The places of employment decide how much pocket money is paid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Insurances<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For social insurance purposes, the Federal Volunteer Service is treated in the same way as an apprenticeship.<\/li>\n<li>Contributions to pension, accident, health, long-term care and unemployment insurance are paid by the assignment location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After completing the BFB, volunteers receive a qualified certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a volunteer, you do not need any specialist training. You will take on tasks that go beyond the core services of the charitable organization. <\/p>\n<p>The BFD is generally performed for a <strong>period<\/strong> of twelve consecutive months. The service lasts a minimum of six months and a maximum of 18 months.
